Why Clozemaster works for Esperanto

💬

Learn Esperanto vocabulary in context

No more single-word flashcards. No more guessing how a word is used. Every Esperanto word you learn appears inside a real sentence — otherwise known as a cloze test. You select or type the missing word from context, picking up grammar, usage, and nuance naturally along the way.

📊

Most common Esperanto words first

Sentences are organized by how common the missing word is, so you learn the most useful Esperanto vocabulary first. Build a base of frequently used words to help you recognize and understand more difficult words from context. Check out the 100 most common words to get started.

🎮

Fun, fast-paced, and effective

Score points, master sentences, and compete on leaderboards. Practice your passive recall with multiple choice or your active recall with text input. The perfect complement to any Esperanto course or textbook.

🔁

Spaced repetition built in

Sentences come back for review right when you're about to forget them. The system adapts to you — master sentences and move on to harder ones at your own pace.

What to do after Duolingo Esperanto

There is no single method or approach that will get you fluent. Clozemaster is meant to be used as a complement to textbooks, classes, tutors, and other resources. It can be useful at any level from beginner to advanced, and is an excellent resource as you play through something like Duolingo Esperanto or as the next step once you've completed your Duolingo Esperanto tree.

But Clozemaster isn't meant for the complete beginner. It's most useful for intermediate Esperanto and advanced Esperanto learners, or at least once you already know the alphabet, pronunciation, and some basic Esperanto grammar. That said, language rules are meant to be broken.

Clozemaster is the best way to improve your vocabulary in Esperanto faster than you ever thought possible.

★★★★★

It's the best language learning app and I say it based on my experience with almost all famous language learning apps. They have recently added a functionality to analyze the sentences grammatically and it's unique and just amazing!

★★★★★

Best of all language learning apps I've tried, and I've tried a plenty. With this app, I actually retain the vocabulary and sentence structures I learn, while most other apps that provide a more fun game-like experience end up almost useless for actual learning.

★★★★★

Actually the best language learning app I've come across. Has so many ways of interacting with your target language with many settings to tailor how challenged you want to be. I never write reviews but I thought it was necessary because this app just rocks.
