Some help please … the English translation is given as ‘It was a one hundred dollar bill’ and the most likely meaning for this ‘It was a 100 dollar bank note’. Can ‘rachunek’ refer to a bank note? I’ve only encountered it as meaning a receipt, bill/check (as in a demand for payment). Thanks!
No, “rachunek” cannot be used to mean a banknote. It looks like the Polish sentence was created as a result of a mistranslation of the English one.
