Tata și-a ajustat întotdeauna costumele la croitor.

Does this sentence, in Romanian, really say that Father always has the tailor ‘make’ his suits? Or that he always has his suits ‘altered’ by the tailor?

Hi,

I think it says that he’s adjusted them. Say he bought a suit from the store that needed to be adjusted for his size.

Exactly. But the translation given by Clozemaster is “Father always has the tailor make his suits.” So, it should be ‘adjusted’, or perhaps ‘altered’, which is similar and the way most people might say it. I will report it as a translation error.
