The CM English translation is ‘Everybody wants permanent peace.’ Should this be ‘Everybody wants a permanent place’. Unless ‘miejsca’ can mean ‘peace’ in this context??? Thanks
This is clearly an error, perhaps someone misread the English sentence when translating it into Polish.
“Miejsce” is pretty much always just “a place” (also when talking about sport results: “the 3rd place” is “trzecie miejsce”).
“Peace” would be “pokój” (as in: “world peace”) or “spokój” (as in: “personal” tranquility, calm).
