Gehst du?

Of the two translations given for “Gehst du”? it seems to me that only one is correct. “Gehst du” is appropriate when speaking to one person with whom you are on “informal” terms. This is equivalent to ¿Te vas?. If you were speaking to a group of people with whom you have an informal relationship, you would say “Geht Ihr”. Here is a reference: https://conjd.cactus2000.de/showverb.en.php?verb=gehen. Why are there so many sentences where the translation for a German sentence in 2nd person, singular, informal includes translations for plural and/or formal connections? There must be some explanation; otherwise there wouldn’t be so many like this in Clozemaster.
