Blockquote El mañana should be “la mañana.” (Feminine gender)

I’m not sure what the translation said, but mañana can be both masculine and feminine.

La mañana refers to the morning. El mañana refers to tomorrow.

“Tomorrow never comes.”

English Translation

Tomorrow never comes.

@Karab mañana without article refers to tomorrow, el mañana refers to the future (the same as el futuro). mañana without the article isn’t a noun at all, it’s an adverb. Of course you’re right it can be both marculine and feminine, and la mañana refers to the morning.

Worth noting that the 1978 thriller’s title was translated as “mañana no amenecerá” (Mañana no amanecerá (Tensión al amanecer) (1978) - FilmAffinity) and there’s also a song “mañana no llegará”, so those two alternatives should be accepted as well.
