In this article, we\u2019ll go over the <em>perder <\/em>conjugation.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll start by looking at what type of verb it is and its verbals. We\u2019ll then move on to <em>perder <\/em>conjugation basics and move on to more advanced tenses. We\u2019ll finish off with some fun phrases that include this verb. Let\u2019s get to it!<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"post-6023-_u5aqunflj4my\"><\/a>What kind of verb is <em>perder<\/em>?<\/h2>\n<p><em>Perder <\/em>is a stem-changing verb. Therefore, it doesn\u2019t follow the standard conjugation for verbs ending in \u201c-er.\u201d But don\u2019t stress! You\u2019ll dominate the <em>perder <\/em>irregularities in no time.<\/p>\n<p>As you probably know by now, in Spanish, verbs end either in \u201c-ar,\u201d \u201c-er,\u201d or \u201cir.\u201d The other part of the verb is called a stem. We\u2019ll start by looking at its verbals: the infinitive, the gerund and the participle. These verbals function as nouns, adjectives and adverbs instead of actual verbs.
